Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 7, 2026
Private PDF Exporter for Gmail is built on a single principle: your emails are yours alone. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, what we don't, and why our architecture makes your privacy a technical guarantee — not just a promise.
1. Email Content — We Never See It
The extension processes your Gmail emails entirely within your browser. No email content, attachments, subject lines, or sender information is ever transmitted to our servers. PDF generation happens locally using browser APIs — we have no technical ability to access your email data.
2. Account Information
Creating an account is only required to purchase and manage a Pro license. If you create an account, we collect:
- Email address — to deliver your license key and send account-related emails.
- Login credentials — stored securely (passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text).
We do not collect your name, phone number, location, or any other personal information beyond what is necessary to deliver your license.
3. License Verification — 100% Offline
Pro licenses are cryptographically signed JWT tokens verified entirely on-device. The extension never contacts our servers to check your license status. Once activated, your Pro features work even without an internet connection.
4. Payment Data
All payments are processed by Creem, a third-party payment processor. We do not receive or store your credit card number or full payment details. We receive only a confirmation that a purchase was completed, along with your email address, in order to issue your license key.
5. Third-Party Services
- Google OAuth— If you sign in with Google, your basic profile (name and email) is shared with us by Google. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Creem— Handles payment processing. Subject to Creem's Privacy Policy.
- Resend — Used to send transactional emails (license delivery, email verification). Your email address is shared with Resend solely for this purpose.
This extension operates inside Gmail and interacts with Gmail's web interface. It is not affiliated with Google LLC. Your use of Gmail is governed by Google's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
6. Data We Do Not Collect
We explicitly do not collect:
- Email content, subject lines, sender/recipient addresses, or attachments
- Your browsing history or activity outside of Gmail
- Device identifiers or IP addresses beyond what is standard in web requests
- Analytics or behavioral tracking data from the extension
7. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Since we do not store email content, there is no conversation data to delete or export. Depending on your location (EU, California, etc.), you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when we add new features. Significant changes will be reflected in the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
